Radisson Edwardian hotels to be rebranded
The spas at five Radisson Edwardian hotels in the UK will remain unaffected by a rebranding process planned for the portfolio by Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
Each of the 13 Radisson Edwardian properties are set to adopt the Radisson Blu name by the end of 2012 under plans announced by the newly launched group.
A spokesperson for the operator confirmed there would be no rebranding of the spas, which include the 490sq m (5,274sq ft) Spa Guildford in Surrey.
Other spas in the current Radisson Edwardian portfolio include The May Fair Spa and East River Spa, New Providence Wharf in London; Pegasus Spa at Heathrow Airport; and Sienna Spa, Manchester.
Edwardian Group chair and chief executive officer Jasminder Singh said: "Radisson Blu is one of the world's fastest growing upscale hotel brands and we are delighted to align Edwardian Hotels with such an iconic brand.
"In doing so, we gain vastly greater visible presence and remove any source of potential confusion for our customers and create a stronger identity, especially in Europe."
