Energised EHFF Conference kicks off in Cologne after three-year hiatus
The ninth European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) has kicked off at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany today (5 April).
This is the first time the event has taken place since 2019.
Under the theme “Moving Forward Together – Collaborating to Rebuild and Renew the Fitness & Physical Activity Sector”, the sold-out event has attracted more than 400 key policymakers, health experts, associations and leading stakeholders from the European fitness sector to discuss the sector's future following the pandemic.
The programme of sessions includes the unveiling of the European Health & Fitness Market Report 2022, published in collaboration with Deloitte, as well as a panel discussion featuring some of the leading industry CEOs, which will explore the sector's current status and latest trends.
A keynote session will also offer delegates a closer look at the ‘game-changing’ FITcert.eu, the new European Fitness Club Certification scheme.
The scheme recently underwent a successful trial, with 340 clubs from nine different European countries taking part.
The event is a collaboration between industry body, Europe Active, and FIBO, Europe's major fitness sector event.
EHFF is held as the opening event of the 2022 FIBO International Trade Show, which opens tomorrow – 7 April.
HCM magazine is a global media partner of FIBO and Europe Active, profiling CEO, Andreas Paulsen in the most recent edition.
