Xercise4Less listed in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100
Budget gym chain, Xercise4Less, has made The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list for the third consecutive year.
The operator was ranked in 68th position in the league table, which ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
The Leeds based company, founded by ex-rugby player Jon Wright, has 45 clubs and more than 306,000 members across the UK. It employs more than 600 people.
Its low cost memberships, which start at £9.99 a month, helped the gym chain drive sales to £28.8m this year. The company plans to have 60 gyms in the UK by the end of 2017 and over 500,000 new members.
Wright said: “Being listed in the Fast Track 100 is a fantastic achievement for us. It’s always great to be recognised, especially alongside the other brilliant and inspirational businesses that take up the other 99 places.
“We have seen consistent growth over the past few years and we now boast over 280,000 members. Our plan is to make affordable fitness available to even more people and we aim to do this by opening at least another 15 clubs by the end of next year.”
